We are looking for a Cleaner on a permanent part time basis to join our amazing and friendly team at our Birkdale Aged Care facility. The successful applicant will hold responsibility for the daily cleaning of rooms, furniture and fittings, toilets and showers, waste and general areas of the premises. Aged Care experience in a similar role highly advantageous but not essential. Some of key responsibilities of the position include: - Cleaning floors, mopping surfaces, washing/scrubbing surface areas, dusting, emptying waste, vacuuming

About you ... You will have a flexible, caring, patient attitude and an ability to work in a professional, respectful and proficient manner. Qualifications Skills: - The ability to accept direction and to work in a team environment with minimal supervision
- To have a basic knowledge of Work Health and Safety procedures
- The ability to work in a safe and respectful manner
- The ability to work with frail and/or cognitively impaired elders and their families within the Accreditation Standards and funding guidelines
- Good interpersonal skills
