The Role We’re looking for a motivated and experienced Food Services Team Leader to oversee our QLD food service operations and ensure our Elders receive nutritious, high-quality meals that reflect their preferences and cultural needs. As a key member of our team, you’ll work closely with the Chef Team Leader and Dietitian to maintain compliance with food safety standards, deliver exceptional service, and support and train food services staff. Responsibilities include: Oversee daily food service operations to meet nutritional and quality standards Supervise, train, and support food service staff Ensure compliance with the Aged Care Quality Standards and Food Safety legislation Maintain audit readiness and accurate documentation Liaise with the Dietitian to meet dietary needs and preferences Ensure kitchen cleanliness and safe food storage practices
What We’re Looking For Food Safety Supervisor or Food Handling Certificate - Ability to work in accordance with Health regulations and the Food Safety Act.
Strong leadership and communication skills Knowledge of dietary requirements for older adults Police Check, WWCC, NDIS Clearance, and driver’s licence A preparedness to work to the 10 principles of the Eden Alternative philosophy.
