IT Support Assistant
Full time permanent

 

About the role ...

 

The IT Support Assistant will assist users in navigating the MiCare IT environment. This will require a self-motivated individual committed to delivering solutions that drive success.  The position will work collaboratively with the Manager ICT Services and service areas within the organisation. The successful incumbent will provide guidance to users and entry level technical knowledge of IT systems and software to support users in using technology in their daily roles.  Some of the key responsibilities of the role include:

  • Demonstrated technical knowledge and basic experience to complete onsite and Remote IT work.
  • Ability to demonstrate technical tasks in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Ability to liaise with MiCare’s Managed Services Provider and their Support Desk in relation to solving tickets.
  • Ability to work within a Team environment but also independently on tasks.
  • Assist with IT projects, reviews & implementations.

 

Qualifications

  • Relevant tertiary education
  • Current Victorian Drivers Licence

 

Skills & Experience

  • Must have previous experience in a similar role or demonstrated knowledge.
  • Must have a basic working knowledge of O365 & Microsoft suite.
  • Must have a basic working knowledge of Windows and Mac OS.
  • Must have basic networking knowledge.
  • Ability to communicate with all levels of the organisation, both written and verbal.
  • Must have demonstrated effective end user engagement
  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills.
  • Experience within the aged care sector and/or a grant funded not-for-profit sector preferred.
