The Role The Systems and Reporting Analyst will provide reporting and analysis that combines information from a variety of systems. The role will utilise Business Intelligence applications to prepare these reports. Through consultation and collaboration with managers across MiCare, the role will also investigate the ability to develop meaning dashboards that provide managers with real-time feedback on agreed KRAs. Key Result Areas Development of dashboards and reports drawing on information from multiple software platforms Assisting in developing integrations between various software platforms to eliminate duplication of data entry Monthly and annual financial reporting Employee reporting Compliance reporting Client analysis Developing ad hoc reports for users from different areas within MiCare
Responsibilities- Use Business Intelligence applications (e.g. Microsoft Power BI) to design, create and maintain robust reports and dashboard that combine information from a variety of systems.
- Support the financial reporting requirements including the QFR and Stewart Brown Survey automation.
- Develop reporting solutions for users across all areas of MiCare.
- Support compliance reporting requirements (including acquittals) across the organisation, e.g. Support at Home compliance.
- Review, improve and distribute monthly reporting pack to board and internal management. Document systems to ensure users can easily utilise and access reporting.
- Assist in the annual budgeting process from a reporting perspective.
- Support the grant application process across the organisation
- Evaluate and assist in improving existing systems and workflows reducing reliance on manual effort.
- Work collaboratively across the business to understand and improve business processes and deliver to their requirements.
- Identify training deficiencies and facilitate the delivery of required training.
- Provide coaching, expert advice and improve staff skill levels on the use of BI solutions.
What We’re Looking For Qualifications - Bachelor Degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, or related field.
Experience - Experience in a similar role.
- Experience in the Not for Profit or Aged Care sector
- Knowledge of relevant systems, practices, and relationships.
- A good understanding of Business Intelligence application, particularly Microsoft Power BI.
- Familiarity with other CRMs and CMS platforms.
Essential skills - Excellent knowledge and skill in Microsoft Power BI and related software required for extracting and reporting on data from various software platforms.
- Ability to think laterally, be proactive and establish reporting solutions.
- An organised and methodical approach to systems and documentation.
- Proficiency in creating user manuals, process maps, and system documentation.
- Strong understanding of system back-end configurations.
- Experience in report creation, form design, and dashboard development.
- Client Management Systems
- Proven ability to understand and capture business and system requirements.
- Experience within the aged care sector and/or a grant funded not-for-profit sector.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
- Excellent understanding of systems and associated databases.
- Ability to effectively manage time.
- High relationship building skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communications skills.
